There were some news that Angel Beat! will have an season 2. According my search in the Net, Its seem that Jun Maede an interview in some manga magazine announce that he will make "Angel Beat! : 2ND Term" for season 2 of it and it will be out on Spring 2011.
Another hint that Angel Beat! will have another season is the alternate ending of it, Were Otonoshi become the next student council president and help the another people to pass on but still waiting for Kanade to return to Afterlife school.

Seeing all the evidence that Angel Beat! season 2 might come, however there are two speculation that I think for the story of season 2, the first one is the Angel Beat! Track Zero going be animated and tell about Yuri and class 3S at the very beginning, and the other one were the alternate epilogue show about Otonoshi and the Blonde Hair guy(I'll can him Edward) that i think a new group of student like the SSS will fight against Otonoshi, however he might have the same powers like Kanade or even more powerful than that (for being too long in the Afterlife, I guess he knows how to use the Angel Player program=_=). Anyway I hope there's another season of it by Spring(I'm a fan of Angel Beat! too^^).

ReplyDeleteI just watched Angel beats all the way through and I was hoping that I would get some insight on the possibility of a 2nd season..that chance seems very grim seeing this post was at least a year ago and no announcements..I'm still very curious about the lives and hardships of the rest of the sss and I wish they would go into higher detail on their lives and death..also I think it would be great if in a second season the sss meet again in whatever setting..another world afterlife type of thing revolving around mostly comedy since they left their troubles behind..also those were good speculations as well...but I'm mostly curious of what happens when they disappear...

ReplyDeleteMy only question is how are they gonna put the last part of episode 13 into the story line? Otonoshi and Kanade were in the living world at the end of episode 13. She was humming the familiar song and he heard it, ran up behind her and was going to touch her shoulder. I don't mind overlooking that due to wanting a second season very badly, but it's just something to think about i suppose. maybe the second seasonmay explain the "HOLES" in the story. like how kanade got there first before otonashi when she said that his heart was transferred to her.
