Well the anime certainly gives the Zero no tsukaima feeling, only the opposite is the pet dragon(who also the heroine) is suppose to be the partner not the master of the protagonist. anyway the story is all about dragon and magic(if wanna add machine which is not out on the anime),

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei : Great Expectation

A very popular popular sci-fi, fantasy light novel that been a talk of most manga fan's(since i just read the manga only XD) and It got anime in the very satisfaction for first impression, like WOW, Amazing!!! kinda sort of stuff. well let's go for the summary of the plot,

Life is a Game

This year I spend so much playing games and found some manga or anime that are game related. So after reading and watching some of them, I figure life is a game(and its cruel T_T). Now here a manga close to this topic "The Gamer Manhwa".

Like some Korean manga, there are Webtoon Comic. which some are not that good, but "The Gamer" is something else.  The protagonist Han Jee-Han, a normal high school student, suddenly develops a special power where his entire world is shifted into a game-like setting. He can see the power levels of people, look at the stats of a seemingly normal item, get abilities, and even level up! "The Gamer", which is Han Jee-Han ability and title, shows that a lot of people can have a certain skill or talent by training it or grinding like the protagonist doing most of the chapters. In real life its the same thing how you play an RPG. by practicing how to draw, to run faster, sports and etc. By training, someday you'll by better a something in this world. Well of course all training and practice are needed time, so we can't learn them all and be good at something weren't not good at. This is why some people view "Reality is a shitty game". Its not a good game, but we have a good run with it ^_^.

Onepunch-man : Great to become Anime

A manga that belongs to the author name"ONE" that is serious becomes a hit even so just a messy doodle, the story and non sense joke give a good punch.When first saw this, it was remake by Yūsuke Murata, the author of Eye Shield 21.The collaboration of Murata and ONE turn Onepunch-man into an awesome manga.

Aoki Hagane No Arpeggio: Ars Nova (First Impression)

The First word came in my mind was The Movie "Battleship" when i first saw it on anime. Then check out the manga and found out that the drawing is a bit Chaotic which my imagination can't grasp. So the full Digital Animation was a right choice to make out most of the detail drawing in the manga superb! Well for Sailing the high sea is a man's duty but Ship will always by a "She" . Therefore make all Battleship are women Lol.

Plot:

By 2039, global warming had caused sea levels to rise and large amount of territory to be lost. As though in response, a mysterious group of warships clad in mist, “the Fleet of Fog,” appeared in every corner of the ocean, and began attacking human ships. In spite of humanity mustering all their strength, they were utterly defeated by the Fog's overwhelming force. All of humanity's trade routes were blockaded by the Fleet of Fog, their political economy was destroyed, and the human race was steadily beaten down. Seven years later, the Fleet of Fog's submarine I-401 appears before cadet "Gunzo Chihaya". The humanoid life form that pilots the sub Iona, who should be their enemy, is instead offering her services to mankind.

The Next Visual Reality Anime

Log Horizon is like a Dot Hack or S.A.O like story, but the different from this anime is that it didn't have a VR(Visual Reality) Gear or whatsoever, just a normal PC device. The thirty thousand Japanese gamers of Elder Tale (WOW or Perfect World like online game) have been waiting of their latest expansion pack "Novasphere Pioneers" and log in, just simply got transported to the game that have the same shape of Japan.

Magi : The Labyrinth of Magic Review

This anime is allusion to the tales of the One Thousand and One Nights which includes the famous tales of Aladdin, Alibaba, and Sinbad in one story about  magical labyrinths that appear everywhere in the world. Each labyrinth contains different monsters, treasures, and a Djinn that lay waiting for its rightful master who has a potential to be "KING". However their is more a mysterious secret that revolves around the people who made this labyrinths and their power is far greater than any magician their called "Magi".

Demon Lord at Work!

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! (Hataraku Maō-sama)

In the classic tradition of Hero versus Demon Lord, this anime brings us closer to home with the premise, what would a Demon Lord do if he came to present day earth and lost all his powers. 

Plot:
Demon Lord Satan is the supreme ruler of Ente Isla, but a rebellion Led by the Hero Emilia(who is actually a heroine), forces the Satan to use his remaining power and flee to another dimension. Together with his Faithful general Alciel, they arrive in  modern day Japan, a world of advanced technology where magic does not exist. Determined to regain his powers and still survive the harsh new world, Satan and his companion obtain new identities, an apartment, and a part-time job at a fast food restaurant. All for the single goal of returning to back to power.

The series shows mundane daily activities of a supposedly evil overlord and the hero who is supposed to kill him but is hesitant seeing him in living proudly in his pathetic situation. 

Reaction:
As one of the best anime I've watched this season, Hataraku Mao-Sama has an amazingly deep plot under all the humor and awkward situations the hero and demon lord get into. 
Nothing too remarkable about the animation though. The story and premise is so simple yet funny it could easily be made into a live action or a drama-comedy series.
I'd give this anime two thumbs up, four out of five stars, or an 8.9 rating. I'm not really clear on how that's all done yet though.
Maybe it's time I think about what ratings I give to anime series I watch. hehe..

Railgun Season 2

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun S (A Certain Scientific Railgun S)

Railgun is one of my most anticipated shows this season. Rarely does a spin-off show get a second season, but Railgun has just enough fans and ratings from the first season to warrant another run this time around.

The show is a spin-off of To Aru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index). Railgun is told from the perspective of Misaka Mikoto, the third strongest Level 5 esper in Academy City. Her powers make use of electricity and eletromagnetism. Her most powerful attack is using a videogame arcade token to conduct massive amounts of voltage to a single coin, creating a high powered projectile, thus earning her the title "Railgun".

The second season revolves around the story of the clone project "Sisters" and the atrocities that Railgun has got involved in and her attempt to put an end to all of it. Appearances of Accelerator and Kamijou Toma are also to be anticipated. Plus the first time two other Level 5 espers appear on an anime.

Right now I've watched till episode 10, the next two episodes will probably be the finale can't wait to make the review, it'll be my first one in an a really long time.

It's been a year since my last post. Man, how time flies. I've been so busy with work that I forgot all about this blog until today. Time to revive this blog again I guess. Watch out anime and manga lovers. Otaku Life is back in business.

Just Another Sports Anime?
Yes, it's a sports anime.. without the exaggerated screaming and impossible dreams. More than about becoming the best there is. The theme is more on friendship and brotherly love (not incest mind you).
The story revolves around Aizawa Kakeru, the less popular brother of a genius football player, Aizawa Suguru.  Always living in the shadows of his brother who was not only admired in Japan but in the international level as well. That was before an unexpected accident that damaged Kakeru's heart, and left Suguru brain dead. Their parents chose to transplant Suguru's heart in hopes to save atleast one of their sons.
After the Kakeru recovered from the transplant, people around him started noticing an aura and skill that they all know is unmistakably Suguru's.  Now Kakeru intends to follow in his brother's footsteps by playing football with hope that his brother is still alive inside him. But he's not the only one who thinks that. His brother's old rivals noticed it too when he was playing. And they're not going to pass up a chance to play with Suguru, even if it's just in spirit.

The end of Bleach

Bleach anime and manga just got more interesting. Especially with news that the manga and anime is about to end. What's curios though is that the anime will be ending first before the manga. They'll probably put the final arc as a movie or probably make it into another series in the future. Never the less I'll be watch the anime from now on.

Recorder to Randoseru : The Shortest yet Funniest Anime I Ever Seen

A Story following the lives of two siblings; Atsushi, an elementary school boy with the appearance of an adult, and Atsumi, a high school girl with the appearance of a young child.

This Anime last for 3 min per episode but the humor sure Full of Impact like the Atsushi showing of his clothes to a classmate in the same age but cause a huge misunderstand to others. Well only problem of this anime is waiting weekly just to see the next episode (Yup A real pain). Anyway let hope the next episode is funnier than the  last episode (episode 2 seem lack of humor than the first)
